About The 3D Printing Workshop

A community-driven platform making 3D printing accessible, reliable, and useful for everyone.

The 3D Printing Workshop is a community-driven platform dedicated to making 3D printing accessible, reliable, and useful for everyone. We operate across three connected verticals: hands-on community courses that teach the fundamentals of 3D printing and design, professional printer servicing and maintenance for schools and organisations, and an original 3D design store offering ready-to-print models and custom work.

Our courses are built for community organisations, schools, libraries, and makers who want to build lasting in-house capability — not just print a single object. Through a structured pathway from introductory sessions to advanced Fusion 360 design, participants gain the confidence and skills to run their own printing programs. Our servicing vertical keeps equipment running smoothly with maintenance plans, repairs, and staff training, while our store provides proprietary designs created by our team.

The 3D Printing Workshop is built and run by experienced educators and technicians who believe that digital fabrication belongs in the hands of communities, not just specialised labs. We partner with funders, councils, and community leaders to establish sustainable local hubs where people can learn, create, and share. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to level up your existing setup, we provide the training, support, and designs to make 3D printing a lasting part of your community.
